Research Description
- To analyze the metagenome of the La Brea Tar Pits, in Los Angeles, California. Specifically, I am bioprospecting for genes, enzymes and/or catabolic pathways for application in the bioremediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
